Religion

Hi everyone, i hope you are well, today i am going to talk about my perspective about the religion

I was in a catholic school all my teaching, I was baptized when I was for years old, I don´t remember almost nothing, only when I cried a lot when the priest threw water on my head, but I had a party afterwards, not so bad after all.

When I started in first grade I remember the song and games I played them until my senior year jaja), at that time I was very curious about the nuns and the churches, I liked, as in my fifth grade I was acolyte, that means that i was dressed in white like a ghost and helped the priest at mass.

Was fun and I didn't get bored at mass, I was in front, and everyone could see me, and my chair was much more comfortable. after that I started to question my religion a lot, why do I believe? what do I believe in? is it worth dressing up as a ghost and throwing incense? in seven grade I decided that I would not believe in something I did not feel and went to the other extreme, atheism.

I realized that several nuns were nothing more than people who took advantage of other people's money, that some of them had committed abuse and that priests were totally idealized. At that time, I rejected everything that was religion and churches, but at the age of 15 I began to participate in volunteer work at school, clearly associated with religion, but helping people with fundamental needs was more important to me.

I began to understand that not everything that surrounds religious people is bad, I met ¨hermanitas del cordero¨ also known as poor sisters, which until now I visit, they do something beautiful and in a kind way, they made open tables to eat with people in street situation, we cooked, and it was a pleasant moment to share.

From there I understood that I respect all types of religion as long as it does not restrict anyone's freedom, religion has to be a glimpse of hope and humanity, not an organization that creates discord. I believe that the church is overvalued and totally tainted as an institution, but not that the people who belong to it are bad.
